The sun came and went! A whole day of it though, so musn't grumble. Back to my trusty window ledge photography, trying to grab a glint of natural daylight! Rather obsessively I've been using up every last little bit of my cotton yarn stash. The wavy baby blanket has gone - exchanged with Fiona at Daisy Mays for a couple of metres of heavenly fabric and a sewing lesson. I am just so excited, her 'grandchild-to-be' will be cosy and warm in the snuggly cotton blanket and I can now, finally, follow a dress-making pattern. Hurrah! Now I just need to crochet a collar and then I can show you exactly what we've been up to. I just love a bit of skill swapping, makes me feel all warm and happy.
I backed them with some Tilda cotton and wadding - hopefully that way there'll be no howls of burnt fingers from The Sicilian! I am supposed to be clearing the decks ready for a spring clean, not adding to the clutter, so I might just pop them on Etsy and see what happens - if they disappear suddenly, you'll know they're hanging happily at OneChurchillsGreen xxx
